AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....
I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing a hot shower and just now crawling into this massive hotel bed feels after starting work this morning at 10AM in Florida and being done just now, at nearly midnight in Texas. If you have ever gone on a long, long plane ride I am sure you can imagine how this job as a flight attendant affects you mentally and physically. Even though I am extremely tired, I am still excited to share some more images from our time in England before I drink my sleepy time tea and fall fast asleep! We just got back a few days ago and I want to document my memories from our trip while they are still fresh in my mind.

So, if you read yesterday's post, you would know that we landed in England without any plans. Gratefully with the hotel's tonight app, we always find THE BEST deals on beautiful hotels for hundreds less. We chose the K + K Hotel George which is described as follows, "Set in a row of Victorian townhouses with a garden, this stylish hotel is a 3-minute walk from Earl's Court tube station."
The hotel truly was just as described and Kensington was by far my favorite part of all of England. We spent most of our time walking around those 2 evenings we spent at this hotel, completely jet lagged and in such a fog but still in awe of what a beautiful neighborhood it was in and how much there was to see nearby!
One evening we came across a spectacular Italian restaurant and had one of those splendid European dinners that are hard to re-create elsewhere: blissfully long, unhurried meals with conversation just as delicious and varied as the many appetizers, topped off by an entree fit for a queen. The restaurant is called Da Mario and is called Princess Diana's Italian Restaurant. I highly recommend the Kensington area and also this hotel if you are ever in London!
