I cannot believe how lucky I have been to call this incredible Fort Lauderdale neighborhood home sweet home the past 7 months. It will forever hold such a special place in my heart. The peace you feel when entering this gorgeous neighborhood is overwhelming. I have heard it from many people that one you leave the parameters of beautiful Victoria Park, the only word to describe the feeling that overcomes you is peace that can truly be felt. It is such an oasis in the middle of a hectic city and each house is so well kept with yards that range from looking like a mini jungle to upscale and well manicured. It is 2 miles to the beach, just close enough to downtown and also around the corner to the upscale Las Olas Blvd. I will cherish the memories Dave and I made in beautiful Victoria Park.
Countless bike rides, sushi from the Japanese store around the corner, juicing, beach, pool, cooking in the tiny kitchen while listening to music and burning incense, outdoor movies in lawn chairs outside the little old Spanish church turned movie theater, lots of yoga, visits from my family, work outs in the park and walking around this beautiful neighborhood.
I will never forget these sweet, simple memories!
