my birthday week via my iphone

Hey, ya'll! 

It is that time of year again where I am stressed out of my mind studying for my recurrent flight attendant training. Once a year, we have to go in for testing and drills and it is just tons of material to study. On top of that, I had the opportunity to do a super cool event volunteering with kiddos with Autism in LA a few days ago on a Hollywood plane set and preparing for that also took a lot of my time. I can't wait to share more about this event with you but for now, I just wanted to drop in and explain where I have been and share some photos from my birthday week a few weeks ago.

My recurrent testing is tomorrow and then I will be back blogging more often! Easterlin's interior (our tiny camper we call home) is looking so cute lately so I will fill you in on her progress, too! 

My man and I didn't even realize we were both going to be in New Orleans the same night of a work trip until the morning of the trip! I went to his layover hotel instead of staying at my own which was a hotel near the crazy area of New Orleans and a bit far from the airport. This pic is from a surprise ride back to the airport the next day in a LIMO! Sometimes rides get messed up and crew luck out on limos. This is super rare though so I was so excited!

Dave and I went to the beautiful Town Square in Vegas after seeing the movie Sully. Such a great movie!

The day after my birthday there was a huge art festival in a park an hour away in Boulder City, Nevada. We got some lunch from the food trucks there and enjoyed walking around looking at the art and soaking up the beautiful sunshine.
